I have been invested in food from a very young age. From eating my grandma’s chicken soup (and also my mums secondary edition, which of course isn’t quite as good), to just loving anything chocolatey or creamy for dessert (or anytime in fact…), food is what makes me smile and excites me like nothing else. In recent years I have grown fond of bread and especially pizza dough. I started making pizza in my home oven at the end of 2019, and bought myself an OONI Koda towards the end of 2020, which only developed my passion for pizza further.

This is my logo – I drew it in the deepest depths of lockdown in 2020 when I started to DJ whilst making pizza.

A stint at Trattoria Brutto in early 2022 not only taught me how to cook professionally but it advanced the way I could taste, whilst also broadening my food horizons. My chopping skills have gotten quite decent as well since I worked at the restaurant. This has sped up the cooking process for different recipes I have been making.

I wanted to make a website to show my feelings on food I buy and make, sometimes showing tips on how I have crafted up certain things and also mistakes I may have made.

I also thought I would say that my favourite cookbook ever is: Julia Child’s ‘Mastering the Art of French Cooking’. I bought this in Paris (cliche but yeah… haha).

I hope everything learns something and enjoys the page.
